Now there is a new application for every woman who would like to track her Period and Ovulation. I know there are several applications on the Android Market, but I promised to my wife to write my own version and make it a little bit different than that what was already available for the G1 Mobile.

  • Speciality:
A full month calender where you can see all your special days (“My Days”) in an graphical overview. Just with a fingertip you are able to add a new “Start of Period”.
Now all upcoming Periods and Days of highest fertility are calculated for the Future. It is just safer to plan your next holiday or trip, knowing if you will have your days in that time or not. Maybe you are planing to make your baby while you are in vacation, just have a look if your Ovulation happens in that time.
    .
  • Extras:
You may not only Track your Period, its easy now to keep in Mind when you had last Time Sex or when you took your Pill. All this additional Informations make it comfortable to have all important days tracked with your Mobile Phone.
  • Users:
Some Woman really have fun to share there Application with her best Friends (if they dont have an own Period Calculator), or within the Family (Mother, Daugther)
    ..
  • ListView:
Should u like to see just all your Entries in a Listview, also thats possible just by a Click.
    .
  • It’s FREE !!
This Software does not cost you a Cent. If you like to donate my Work, you are Welcome :)
    .
  • Where do I get this Application?
    http://www.guruk.com/android/mydays03a.apk
    .
  • How to install?
I am working on to get my Google Developer Account soon as possible to post it in the Market. For now you can download and install the Software “Apps Installer” from the Market. Put “mydays03a.apk” on your SD-Card and run the “Apps Installer” to install this File from your SD-Card
    .
  • What else…
This is a Alpha Version, so please understand if its not perfect and I am willed to improve with your Help and Response.  Feel free to send your constructive Critics in the Comments, also any positive Comment is welcomed to see if it works with you. Also if you like to help with a translation in any foreign language or even improve my English (i am original german), just send me a Note.

Now, just start to download your “My Days 0.3a”:
http://www.guruk.com/android/mydays03a.apk

Enjoy this Application …. and dont forget, I am not responsible or anything that happens while you use this Program. The final Responsibility is always on yourself :)

  1. I love this app. I need to wipe/erase my phone. I’ll have to redownload Mydays but I don’t want to loose my current tracked information. Is there any way to back up or sync the information first?
    Thank you,
    Megan

    Hi there,

here a short reminder how to make a backup of your privat data.

    - first export data from the original mobile by going to mydays preferences.\
    - Look what user is activated. Click “Save to SD-CARD”.
    - Now the activated user data comes saved to a file called “username.myd” on the sd-card root.
+ Change the sd-card into your new mobile

    - Create/Activate the same username as you saved before
(you cant for example import user “sara” into “Default User”)
    - Than click “Load from SD-Card”

You could also copy sometimes this backup file from your SD-Card to your Computer, just for the
reason your mobile may be stolen. In that case you always can copy this backup file to your
new sdcard and reimport into mydays. Otherwise you data would be lost.

LOVE this app, thank you so much for creating it. My phone died and I’m pretty sure I had it backed up, however I am unable to load the information onto my new phone. Went from a Droid to a Droid 3. When I first tried it, I received an error message that there was a file error. I took the card out and loaded it up on the laptop (I can see the file) I put it back in my phone and tried again, it loaded but loaded the “new” blank file. Any suggestion?

hi i love this app. the only thing i could suggest to make it any better is for it to have some sort of alarm or notification when your period is coming. all of my friends love this app too

  9. Maria says:

Just started it about 2 months ago but absolutely love it, it keeps everything organize and gives me a heads up when i’ll have my period just wondering what does BUT stand for on the app?

  10. admin says:

within the PRO Version you can have Alarm and Notifications.
    http://christian-albert-mueller.com/mydays/buy-my-days-pro/
you may also activate the PRO TRIAL in the Preferences to test that features 14 Days for free.

I love this app!!! I just started using it a month ago and it was right on!! Before I didn’t know anything now I know everything with the push of my finger!!!

  13. lissy quentin says:

can i use this app only with a Droid phone??? is there a website??

  14. admin says:

for now ‘my days’ is only available on android mobiles or by web browser http://mydays.2t4u.com

  15. K says:

I love this app!! I’m usually so unorganized when it comes to my time of the month, but with this app, I know exactly when to start preparing (and letting my bf know when to stay away from me lol). It tells me my exact fertile time(s) for each month so all that’s left is to grab my honey bunch and hope for the best! :]

  16. will says:

My girl uses this to track her period. I like the app let’s hope its right on

  17. Expecting 2012 says:

  18. Julie says:

Love this app, have been using for a year almost. I’m bummed I’m getting an iphone and can’t transfer my data to keep a continuous record.

  19. admin says:

aim working right now on a iPhone version :)

  20. admin says:

not now… you could use the browser version: http://mydays.2t4u.com .. working on all smartphones with internet browser.

  21. Weavre says:

Megan Overley–did you ever get an answer to your question? That’s exactly the information I came to the site to find. Last time I switched phones, I lost all my My Days data, and it was a serious blow as I keep medical data in the Notes section as well as using the regular tracker.

Is there a way to backup and recover My Days data? If not, then Chris–how much would it cost to get you to add it? I’d definitely be willing to pay for that feature.

  22. admin says:

    @Megan

there is a backup option, but should a user not use it, for sure it can’t be a help when needed :)

here a short reminder how to make a backup of your privat data.

    - first export data from the original mobile by going to mydays preferences.\
    - Look what user is activated. Click “Save to SD-CARD”.
    - Now the activated user data comes saved to a file called “username.myd” on the sd-card root.

    2.
NOW very important otherwise also you saved your data, they may not on the sdcard:
    - On your phone, tap on Settings.
    - Under Settings, tap on SD card & phone storage.
    - Now tap on Unmount SD card.
    - When you do, this option will be grayed out because the card will be unmounted

    3.
+ Change the sd-card into your new mobile

    4.
    - Create/Activate the same username as you saved before

Love this app! Helps me keep track of when my next cycle will be so I can plan things out around it. My husband has the app on his phone too so he knows when I’m on my cycle & to leave me alone lol. This also helps me to NOT get pregnant seeings how my husband & I aren’t ready yet. Thx for a awesome app!

  29. admin says:

    Hi Shannon,

thanks for your nice Comment. Also I have to remind you, that you can come pregnant on any day. Nature is here quiet surprising. MyDays just shows the MOST Fertile Days, that does not mean you could only can come pregnant at that days.

Take care and protect, .. really :)

    chris

  30. Liz says:

Hi. I think the app is a good idea, but my problem with it is that the password option only comes with the Pro version. I understand that some features are only available if one uses the Pro version, but if I’m saving private information on the app, then I feel I should at least be able to password-protect it, even if I’m using the free version

  31. wendy says:

I foumd this app and i wanted to give it a go and i am hooked i love love love this app thank u sooooo much just one question what doea BMT mean?

  32. Jackie says:

I cannot believe how amazing this app is. How accurate it is. It knows before I do. = ) I started this app sometime around June/July of 2011. I also would like to know what “BMT” means. Thanks again for creating such an amazing app = )

  33. elida says:

Bmt is basal metabolic temp. You take your temp every morning so that you can see when you are ovulating. Your temp rises .4 degrees when ovulating. By the way I love this app.

  34. McQuelle says:

I love this app… i just really want to know what a bmt is…

  35. Roz says:

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a bit and explain things better because people can never get enough visual stimuli , but other than that, this is afantastic blog. Great read. I’ll certainly be back.
