I made Androrb to be able looking videos on my Android Phone, streaming from my local pc with the help from the orb-server http://orb.com .

I made the code open source so especially beginners in android programming can play with it and develop new features.

This is for private use only and not to publish into any android market. You are welcome to provide me your updated source code that I may include it into a further update from androrb, for sure mentioning your effort.

Download: [androrb03-source]

Thank you for this application, it works great! Even better than the one on the iPhone. :-)

Thanks a ton for making this open source! You did some great things in this initial attempt at this application which mainly for me is the video transcoding which the browser failed to do for me (even when running an android ROM that supported Flash in the browser the results was still absolute crap).

I’ll throw this at a forum full of modders and hope someone else picks up where you started from in this awesome application! :D

    Hi Albert,
first of all, congrats for the idea, this app works great.
My suggestion is about the order of the files appear in list. I think would be great to see files listed by folder, or at least if we’re trying to listen any file, providing tags to know what file are we listen to.

Thanks in advance, and hope to be useful
